FAQ
Common questions
Can I communicate in English?
Yes, with help. Dr. Lim understands English well but speaks it more slowly, and our staff's English is limited. We recommend booking ahead so we can arrange an interpreter and make your visit comfortable; if you come in without booking, we rely on AI-assisted interpretation. Either way, written inquiries by email or message are handled by Dr. Lim personally, so a reply can take a day or two.
Can I ask questions before I travel?
Yes, and it helps. Email or message us with what you have in mind, and Dr. Lim will reply personally. It also makes treatment on the day of your visit possible.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Not much. A passport or Korean residence card, and a list of any medications and supplements you take, as some can affect treatment. If any part of your plan involves sedation, surgery or otherwise, we will let you know beforehand whether you need to fast.
Can I have treatment on the day of my consultation?
Often, yes. Non-surgical treatments can be done the same day when they are the right call. Surgery as well, provided we have settled the plan together beforehand.
Will I need someone with me?
Usually not. Most treatments are done under local anesthesia, and you can leave on your own afterwards. If your plan involves sedation, it helps to have someone with you, and you should not plan on driving that day.
How long should I plan to stay in Seoul?
That depends on what we do. Most non-surgical treatments need no extra days. After surgery with no stitches to remove, you could leave the next day, though we suggest allowing two or three days in case anything needs a look. If there are stitches to remove, stay until they are out: about a week for the face, occasionally up to ten days.
