Joonho Lim, MD

Joonho Lim, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of LEAD Plastic Surgery Clinic in Dogok, within Seoul's Gangnam district. He graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine and completed his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Seoul National University Hospital. He focuses on slow-aging, eyelid surgery, and scar care.

Before opening LEAD in 2024, Dr. Lim spent years in Apgujeong, the center of cosmetic surgery in Seoul, performing mainly eyelid and facial rejuvenation surgery. He valued that work, but most of it ended with the operation itself. He wanted a practice where he could see people over time, as their faces and their needs change.

Dr. Lim offers both surgery and non-surgical treatment, and his advice starts from the published evidence. He recommends only what is likely to help. Sometimes that is a smaller procedure, or none at all.
